About gizzMotion

gizzMotion is a free online motion graphics maker for short-form video, with 1277 ready-made templates (411 free): transparent overlays, text effects, lower thirds, buttons and stickers, app and product mockups, chat stories, AI answers, animated charts, travel maps, scoreboards and news graphics. You edit them by typing.

Everything runs in your web browser. Your text, images and exported videos are made on your own device and are never uploaded to us. There is no account and no watermark on what you export.

We built it because making a ten-second animated overlay should not need a motion-design course or a subscription. Every template is already animated and timed; you change the words and export an MP4, or a transparent MOV or WebM to lay over your own footage.

Transparent exports are tested with Apple's own video decoder and in Adobe Premiere Pro at 720p and 1080p, 30 and 60 fps.

How it is built

gizzMotion is a web app. Animations are drawn in your browser and encoded on your device: MP4 with the browser's own video encoder, and transparent MOV and WebM with an open-source encoder that runs in the page. See the credits for the data and software it uses.
