How to make a sports scoreboard overlay and match graphics
Make a broadcast-style scorebug with a running clock, goal alerts, full-time results, line-ups, league tables and player cards for highlights and match-day posts.
Highlight edits and match-day posts look professional with a few graphics: a score bar, a goal moment, the result and the line-up. Here is how to make each one.
During the highlights
- Score bar: Scorebug shows both teams, the score, a running clock and the period, and can flash a new goal.
- The goal: Goal alert drops a big GOAL with the scorer's name and minute.
- Match timeline: Match timeline places goals and cards along the 90 minutes.
Before and after the match
- Match intro: Match intro slides both teams together with a VS badge.
- Line-up: Starting lineup puts players on a pitch in your formation, such as 4-3-3.
- Result: Match result with scorers and venue, and Match stats for possession, shots and corners.
- Standings: League table highlights your team, and Tournament bracket fills a knockout round by round.
- Players: Player card, Player radar, MVP card and Transfer news.
- Motorsport: Race leaderboard shows the running order, lap count and gaps.
All are in sports.
Team colors and crests
Every template takes your team names, short names such as "RIV", colors and crest images. There is no league branding, so they suit amateur clubs, school teams, esports and fan channels.
Export
For a score bar over footage, export a transparent MOV (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve) or WebM (CapCut), and place it in a corner. For match-day posts, export 1080p MP4 in 9:16 or 1:1.
