Is gizzMotion free?
Yes, for 411 of the 1277 templates, with no account, no watermark and unlimited exports. Pro, at $9 a month or $90 a year, unlocks the other 866 templates.
What is the best free tool for transparent video overlays?
gizzMotion makes animated overlays with a transparent background in your browser: lower thirds, text effects, buttons, stickers and frames. Export a ProRes 4444 MOV for Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve, or a transparent WebM for CapCut and OBS. 411 templates are free, with no watermark and unlimited exports.
Is there a free online animation maker with no watermark and no AI credits?
Yes. gizzMotion is template-based, not AI, so there are no credits, and its 411 free templates export without a watermark, without an account and without limits.
Do I need to sign up or install anything?
No. gizzMotion runs in your web browser. Open a template, edit it and export.
Are my videos uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is rendered on your own device, in your browser. Your text, images and videos never leave your computer. Map tiles and place search load from the providers listed on the Credits page.
Which video formats can I export?
MP4 for posting to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other apps. Transparent MOV (ProRes 4444) for Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and After Effects. Transparent WebM for CapCut. PNG for still images.
How do I get a transparent background?
Set the background to None in the Style tab and export as MOV (or WebM for CapCut). Many templates, including all emoji effects and map overlays, start with a transparent background already.
What resolution and frame rate can I export?
720p or 1080p, at 30 or 60 frames per second, in 9:16 (TikTok, Reels, Shorts), 4:5, 1:1 or 16:9.
How long can a video be?
Each template sets its own length automatically so the animation finishes. You can set any length up to 60 seconds in the Motion tab.
Which browsers work best?
Chrome or Edge on a computer support every export, including transparent MOV and WebM. Safari 16.4 and newer export MP4 and PNG.
Can I use the videos commercially?
The videos you make are yours. You are responsible for what you put in them, including names, photos and brands. See the Terms for details.
Can I make fake text messages?
You can make mockup conversations for stories, skits, parody and education. Do not use them to deceive, defraud or harass anyone, and label them as a mockup when they could be mistaken for real. App names and styles belong to their owners; gizzMotion is not affiliated with them.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, you can edit and preview on a phone. For long or 1080p videos, and for transparent exports, a computer is faster and more reliable.
Do I need After Effects or motion design skills?
No. Every template is already animated. You type your words, pick options, and gizzMotion handles the timing, easing and rendering.
Is my work saved?
Your edits are saved automatically in your browser on this device. Clearing your browser data removes them, so export anything you want to keep.
