Terms of use
Who we are
gizzMotion is a trading name of Tabraz Khan, a sole proprietor in India. You can reach us at [email protected]. These terms are an agreement between you and gizzMotion. By using the site or the app you agree to them.
Using gizzMotion
gizzMotion is a web app for making animations and overlays for video. You need a current browser and an internet connection. You must be old enough to make a binding contract where you live, and if you use it for a company you must have the authority to accept these terms for it.
We work hard to keep the site available, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features, templates or plans, for example to fix a problem, add something new or stop something that no longer works.
Free use and Pro
Many templates are free to use and export without an account. Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks every template.
Pro is billed monthly or yearly and renews until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt or from your account on the Pro page, and Pro keeps working until the period you paid for ends. Prices are shown at checkout. If we change a price, the new price applies from your next billing period and we will tell you first.
Payments are taken by our payment provider, who acts as the merchant of record. They sell the subscription to you, charge the tax that applies in your country and issue refunds, and their own terms apply to your purchase. Card details go to them and never reach us. If a payment fails, we may limit paid features until it is sorted out. See the refund policy for how money back works.
Your licence, and sharing it
When you subscribe, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use gizzMotion and to use what you export in your own videos and projects, including commercial ones, as long as you follow these terms.
One Pro licence covers one person on up to two computers. Please do not share a licence, or a sign-in, beyond that.
The right to use gizzMotion does not include copying, reselling or renting the app or its templates, packaging our templates to sell as your own template pack, or using them to build a competing product.
Accounts and signing in
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code that we send you. There are no passwords. Keep access to that email address, because whoever can read it can sign in. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to get around licence or device limits, or is used for fraud. If you think we got it wrong, email us and we will look at it.
Your content
What you type, upload and export is yours, and you are responsible for it. You need the rights to any images, names, logos, music or likenesses you add.
Your designs are made and stored in your browser, on your device. We do not receive them, so we do not hold a copy or claim any right over them. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Our content and other people’s brands
The templates, designs, code, text and site are ours or our licensors’, and are protected by copyright. Open data and open-source software we build on is listed on the credits page, under its own licences. You may not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we back you or your business.
gizzMotion templates are original designs. We do not use other companies’ names or logos in them, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any app, game, brand or company. If you add someone else’s name, logo or content to your own video, that is between you and them.
Copyright and trademark complaints
If you own a copyright or trademark and believe something on gizzMotion uses it without permission, email [email protected]. Tell us where it is (a link, or the template’s name), what right you own, how to reach you, and that you are the owner or act for them and are making the request in good faith.
We will look at it promptly and, if it is justified, change or remove what is at fault. We may end access for people who repeatedly infringe other people’s rights. If you are the owner of content shown here and would like it credited differently or taken down, use the same address.
Use it honestly
You must not use gizzMotion to:
- pass off a mockup as a real message, post, review, receipt or statement in order to deceive, defraud or harass someone;
- impersonate a real person or company, or put words in a real person’s mouth in a way that could mislead or harm them;
- fake evidence, reviews, endorsements or payments;
- break any law, or anyone else’s rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy and publicity rights;
- get around licence, device or payment checks, or share licence keys;
- attack, overload or scrape the service, or try to reach parts of it that are not meant for you.
When a video could be mistaken for something real, label it clearly as a mockup, parody or dramatisation.
Disclaimer and liability
gizzMotion makes mockups: made-up conversations, posts, reviews and interfaces for design, parody, education and entertainment.
gizzMotion is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including lost work or failed exports. Nothing here limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update the app and these terms. If a change matters to you, for example to how you pay, we will tell you. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using gizzMotion after a change means you accept it.
