Who is responsible
Tabraz Khan, a sole proprietor in India, trading as gizzMotion, decides how your personal information is used on this site. Contact: [email protected].
What stays on your device
Designs, images and videos are made and stored in your browser, on your device. We never receive them. Edits and preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage, and clearing site data removes them. You do not need an account to use the free templates.
What we collect if you buy Pro
We keep:
- your email address, and a name if you give one;
- your licence key, plan and subscription status;
- the devices you have used: a random device ID, the browser and system, and when it was last seen;
Our payment provider tells us your email address, the plan you bought and a subscription identifier. We never see your card or wallet details.
Signing in and cookies
There are no passwords. We email you a one-time code that works for 10 minutes. Once you have signed in, a cookie called gizz_s keeps you signed in for 45 days. It is strictly necessary, is not used for tracking, and is removed when you sign out. To stop abuse we count sign-in requests per email address and per IP address for up to an hour. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.
Why we use it, and for how long
We use this information only to:
- run your account and check that your subscription is active (this is the contract we have with you);
- send you sign-in codes and licence emails;
- keep the service secure and prevent fraud and misuse;
- meet our legal and tax duties.
We keep account records while your subscription is active and delete them if you ask, except for records we are required to keep by law. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, and sign-ins after 45 days. Our payment provider keeps payment and tax records as the law requires.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. Only the services that help us run gizzMotion see it: our payment provider takes the payment as merchant of record; Cloudflare hosts the site and stores account records; Resend sends our emails. Map tiles and place results come from the providers listed on the credits page, who see your IP address and what the map shows, like any website that loads their content. We may also share information if the law requires it.
We use PostHog (US servers) for anonymous analytics: page views and events like “export” or “checkout started”, tied to a random ID kept in your browser’s local storage, not a cookie. We do not record sessions, keys or screens, and never send your designs, email address or name. Switch it off by turning on Do Not Track, or by opening any page with ?noanalytics. Crash reports (an error message and technical details, never your design content) are used only if switched on.
Where it is processed
We are based in India, and the services above may process information in other countries, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the United States. We only use services that protect it to a reasonable standard.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to how we use it, take a copy of it, or complain to your local data protection authority. You can also withdraw any consent you gave.
To use any of these, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We will answer as soon as we can, and within one month where the law sets that limit.
Children
gizzMotion is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us any, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
